Meanwhile, the adaptive sports community — which includes nearly 50,000 wounded veterans engaging in competitive and recreational adaptive athletics — has historically had almost no live coverage.
SUDS is changing that.
The Coverage Gap in Adaptive Sports
When a SUDS warrior completes their first open-water dive in Key Largo, it's as significant to that person — and to their family — as any professional sporting moment. But there's no TV deal. No streaming platform has adaptive scuba diving in their content catalog. The families watching from home depend entirely on the organization's own media infrastructure.
