SUDS 2025 Annual Impact Report – 18 Years of Adaptive Sports for Wounded Warriors
In 2025, SUDS celebrated 18 years of service to the wounded warrior community. From its origins as a scuba diving program for injured servicemembers at Fort Sam Houston in 2007, SUDS has grown into a full-spectrum adaptive sports organization offering five disciplines across twelve locations nationwide.
This report summarizes our program activity, financial performance, and community impact for the fiscal year January–December 2025.

SUDS maintains a 93-cent program efficiency ratio — meaning 93 cents of every dollar donated directly funds participant experiences. Administrative overhead is kept deliberately minimal because every board member and leadership volunteer donates their time.

Looking Ahead: 2026
In 2026, SUDS plans to expand its dive program with two Caribbean destinations, add a stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) pilot program, and launch live sports event coverage via our YouTube channel for every major trip — giving families a real-time window into their warrior's achievements.
