SUDS Adaptive Skiing 2025–26 Winter Season Wrap-Up
The 2025–26 SUDS adaptive skiing season ran from December 2025 through March 2026, with events at two Colorado mountain resorts in partnership with NSCD (National Sports Center for the Disabled)-aligned programs. Here's a wrap-up of the season and what's next for the winter sports program.

Program Highlights
- Eight first-time skiers in the program, all completing at least two runs under instruction
- Two bi-ski participants (sit-ski) competing their first downhill runs on Alpine terrain
- Cross-country instruction introduced for low-impact option for participants with upper-body injuries
- Adaptive ski equipment loan program expanded through NSCD partnership

2026–27 Winter Season Preview
Based on the success of the expanded 2025–26 program, SUDS is planning a Winter Sports Classic for 2026–27 that adds Utah venues to the roster. Early registration opens October 2026. Contact SUDS to be notified when registration opens.
